About Little Eats

Little Eats is passionate about finding venues to eat out with kids.  Little Eats was born in 2009 with more questions on “where can we go that’s good for the kids?” than answers.

Like you, we want to have fun exploring Australia’s eating out scene with our little ones. And we have 5 between us!

We love that Little Eats can be used at home or a web-app when out and about. Just tap ‘Find my location’ and all your closest venues will appear. Remember you can use our awesome filters too to drill down and find exactly what you are after.

The Little Eats web page was re-launched in September 2017 to an Australia wide audience making it even easier for parents as a single point of reference. If you’re looking for a quick breakfast or on holidays and looking for dinner Little Eats has you covered.

Our Mission

We believe that eating out with kids should be an experience that should be cherished and enjoyed by kids, parents and those around you.

Little Eats makes life just that little bit easier for parents whilst driving a positive social impact on the well-being of the community. Our aim is to give parents with young children as many options as possible to get out of the house and feel comfortable when eating out.

Meet the Little Eats Mums

These two mums teamed up to with the shared goal to find the best kid friendly eating out venues in Australia. All of the reviewed venues have been visited by one or both of these mums ensuring that it is truly a kid friendly venue.

Nicole Cubbin  – Mum to 3 boisterous yet Beautiful children

Nicole is passionate about coffee and healthy eating. She grew up in Sydney then moved to London for several years.

On her return from London in late 2012 with two young children, Nicole felt like a tourist in her home town and was inspired to start her own online business, Little Eats Sydney.

After 7 years away she had no idea where to dine or even grab a decent coffee with her daughters. Many cafes and restaurants just didn’t cater for families. She searched online but could not find a comprehensive eating out guide. Hence how Little Eats was born 🙂

Katrina Baggott – Mum to 2 Restless Chatterbox Children

Katrina grew up in a large family with a Ukrainian Father that loved to cook but more so loved to sit down as a family and enjoy a meal together. Fast forward 35years and Katrina always has something on the go as a working mum, however, finds ultimate happiness in sitting as a family and sharing a conversation over a fabulous stress-free meal.

After moving to Brisbane from Sydney Katrina struggled to find accurate resources on where to dine out with kids.
