Annie’s on the main street in Barwon Heads is a gorgeous provedore, deli, produce store and cafe. There is a delectable selection of cheeses, biscuits, jams, chutneys, sauces, pastas, mineral water, cordials, olive oils, vinegars, bread and more for you to purchase. There is also a good selection of choccies and treats for sale, and some very tempting jars of giant milk and white freckles on the counter.
They are mainly a cafe during the day serving up breakfast, lunch and everything in between from coffees, to cakes and milkshakes. However they are also open for pizza for tea on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
They have highchairs for the little ones, and there are big wooden communal tables which are great for a group or family. There is no change table, but the disabled toilet is very spacious with enough room to wheel a pram in and change bub.
The dinner menu is mainly pizza, with gourmet toppings including pumpkin, goats cheese and rocket, however there is also a special kids pizza section on the menu with more simpler options.
Annie’s is a cute cafe and produce shop, with lots of yummy things you’ll want to take home. It is a good option for a quick pizza for tea with the family in a nice, relaxed and cosy environment, however just be careful with the little ones and all the attractive delicacies on display on the shelves…. might be a good place for them to learn to look but not touch.
