Bavarian Bier Cafes are dotted across Sydney and known for their fun, welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant at the Entertainment Quarter with its music, long wooden centre tables, deer horn chandeliers and bunting adorning the walls offers the perfect Bavarian experience for all the family. All our visits here have been at ‘peak’ kid friendly dining times and the tables have been packed with parents, highchairs and children of all ages.
The kid’s menu is served all day and is a bargain at only $6. Choose from schnitzel; fish and chips; frankfurter sausage; steak sandwich; or linguine. To top this off they may like ice cream and topping for $4.50. The menu itself serves as a placemat, colouring in and Bavarian food hunt puzzle. Plenty to keep little fingers busy.
The Bavarians are famous for their pork and beer and you won’t be disappointed if you love these here. Try the Bavarian Tasting Platter ($29), Pork Knuckle ($26/$31) or Pork Belly ($27) if you want an authentic experience. They also have burgers, hotdogs, schnitzel, salads and sausages ($16-$29).
The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is fun and the food is wholesome and delicious – three great reasons to visit the Bavarian Bier Cafe with your family.
