Beach Barzura

Children are well catered for with 75c babycinos, lots of room for prams and a beach and playground within close vicinity.

Beach Barzura occupies a breathtaking location perched above Coogee Beach. Visit during the week and the outdoor area will be buzzing with parents and prams, families and those in active wear enjoying a coffee in the sun.

The food is on the pricey side however you are paying for the location and views. The breakfast menu does have an Asian feel with Asian style omlette ($16) and congee chicken soup ($12) on offer. More traditional options include ricotta hotcakes with maple syrup, poached pears and honeycomb butter ($15), homemade muesli with berry compote and yoghurt ($14) and croissant with jam ($6). Take advantage of the 75c babycinos.

The lunch and dinner menu starts at midday and is a mix of Asian and modern Australian dishes ($15-$31). They do offer weeknight specials between 5-7pm which include a meal and a beer for $24, so this would be a great option for an early dinner with the kids.

Overall, it was a wonderful way to enjoy a sunny winters day, savouring the view at this Coogee institution. Positioned perfectly between the beach and Grant Reserve playground for your little ones to enjoy.
