Belrose Hotel have a vision of creating a ‘home away from home for our foodie families’. They also claim to have the largest indoor ‘soft-play’ playground of any of hotel in Australia. It is divided between toddlers and 5 years+. Separating the two play areas is a fantastic idea given the older soft play section can become quite rowdy and littler ones could easily be pushed around.
Little foodies are spoilt for choice, with meals ranging from $10 – $13. Options include chicken tenderloin strips ($12); pasture-fed rump steak ($13); tempura battered flathead ($10); penne ($10); and pizza ($10). For dessert, instead of sugar-laden ice cream, they have frozen yoghurt ($5) which has lower sugar, no artificial colours and is a good source of calcium. Adults are covered with a variety of main meal options from healthy salads to chicken parmigiana.
Belrose Hotel is the perfect spot for a kid friendly lunch or dinner. You will hardly see them because they are too busy having a ball in the play area. Remember to book ahead though and request a table near the play area.
