An outdoor play area with seesaw, swings, slide, little school chairs and sandpit, high chairs, room for prams and a great, well-priced kids menu. Eating our with kids? Need I say more? Nope… but I will!
An actual schoolhouse in its former life, this café has plenty of seating options. Sit inside the sprawling café with room for a pram brigade of mothers, outside at the large table settings or at one of the more intimate little mini settings scattered around or just grab a take away coffee and stand around the fence play area having a chat while the kids play.
The menu for us is has creative names and creative mixes of ingredients. Its nutritious, clean and most ingredients are locally sourced. See the full menu here.
Coffee is from St. Ali’s which in my opinion is always yum. For the non-coffee drinkers of us there is an abundance of other options including delicious Prana Chai and great tea and fresh juice options. It is also licensed for those in need of a vino.
The service could use a bit of a push. They are friendly and fun but a touch slow. Other than that in terms of kid-friendliness it’s an A+ from Little Eats at this school house!
