Brown Cow provides highchairs, a change table, kids menu options, kid sized drinks, and crayons with colouring in pictures too. It is definitely a 5 out of 5! It is spacious and has plenty of room for prams. There is a lovely large deck out the front, perfect for the warmer weather, and a cosy fireplace inside as well.
When we had breakfast there on a recent Saturday morning, it was jam packed with local families enjoying a nice big breakky together while the kids either ran around, chilled in their highchairs or happily sat at the table colouring in.
At Brown Cow, the meals are large serves, and represent really good value for money. They have big breakfasts where the eggs are piled high on to nice big thick slices of toast and the sides are aplenty. There is also another option for the sweet tooths – cinnamon French toast with caramelised banana, maple syrup and bacon, and for the health conscious there is porridge with fruit compote, bircher muesli, and great big bowls of yummy fruit salad and yoghurt. For lunch and dinner there is good selection of foccacias, salads, pizzas, burgers, pastas, risottos, and fish dishes. So there is something to suit every budget and taste bud.
There are a couple of Kid’s breakfast options too – pancakes and eggs on toast, and kid’s size milkshakes and hot choc’s. For lunch and dinner, kids can enjoy fish and chips, chicken nuggets and chips, spaghetti with napoli sauce or Margarita pizza.
Brown Cow is definitely a very kid-friendly cafe, that welcomes little ones with open arms and provides a great venue for family meals and catch ups with other groups of friends and families.
