Cafe on Johnston was taken over in 2013 by Suzanne Elch, who aimed to bring life to this local icon. She has reinvented the vibe and the menu, bringing her Lebanese background to inspire her dishes. Make sure you check out the dish of the day, especially the hearty winter soups.
There is a little toy corner however no kid’s menu. The staff will happily do half portions of sandwiches or choose from a variety of baked goods like banana bread or toast. Babycinos are beautifully presented with several marshmallows.
Breakfast is served all day and for lunch a variety of Lebanese inspired meals are on offer. Cafe on Johnston has reinvented itself into a community cafe with a friendly and welcoming vibe. Suzanne will look after you and make sure you are felt right at home.
