Chefs Gallery
Children are encouraged to be part of the meal in every way and will love watching the kitchen theatrics behind the glass wall! The concept behind Chefs Gallery is ‘chapas’ or ‘Chinese Tapas’ which encourages sharing small dishes and experimenting with lots of flavours. Little ones will love the delicious dim sum, hand-crafted noodles and gorgeous desserts on offer.
When we first visited on a Saturday night, the restaurant was full and the majority of tables were families dining together. They do not take reservations, so we put our name down on the list for a short wait until a table was ready. Once seated, the buzz of the restaurant and the cooks working their magic in the open kitchen provided plenty of entertainment for the little ones. They do have kids plates and cutlery too.
The beautiful photos make exploring the menu easy. We decided to order a variety of dim sum, noodles and vegetables. Standout items for us were the pork and prawn wontons; the duck and mushroom noodles; the thick noodles with prawns and broccoli and the ‘Piggy Buns’. Finishing off the meal with the cute piggy buns is so much fun!
