Cooper Park Tennis Cafe is a hidden gem located within Cooper Park in Bellevue Hill. In an area where it is difficult to find cafes to accommodate little ones, this one is the perfect option. The staff are very friendly and the patrons relaxed and happy. The cafe exudes a positive atmosphere which we loved. The menu is simple yet delicious and the freshly baked goods are to die for. The chef only works Wednesday to Sunday, however you can choose from sandwiches and baked goods on the other days.
We found sitting in the cafe, surrounded by bushland and towering rock walls to be utter relaxation. You feel a million miles from the city. Pram access is available via walkway and they offer baby change facilities. Unfortunately they do not offer highchairs so make sure you bring your pram for babies.
For breakfast choose from eggs on toast ($9.50), omelette ($12.50), bacon and egg roll ($8.50), muesli ($7.50) or toast ($5.50). For lunch they offer a BLT ($10.50), avocado, cream cheese and tomato on sourdough ($12.50), lamb and rosemary burger ($12.50) or wraps and sandwiches for $10.50.
The nearby covered play area is great for burning off some energy or exploring the park via the several walking tracks. A great family day out.
