Cowderoy’s Dairy is an old Milkbar come General store come cafe, situated right next to Jacoby Reserve complete with playground. You can perch yourself on the sheltered verandah area and overlook your little ones playing in the park. Or if the sun is shining you can borrow a picnic rug and take your latte and lunch out onto the grass for some real al fresco dining. Also a great spot for a quick coffee, hot choccie, babycino and a treat to go.
Cowderoy’s Dairy is very laid-back, super chilled out and of course kiddie-friendly, not just because of the perfect parkside location or the old school milkbar charm, but also because they have highchairs, yummy baby-cino’s, lovely, friendly, chatty staff, owners who are parents of young children too, and an all-round welcoming, positive vibe.
For breakfast you and your little ones can enjoy the breakfast trifle aka Bircher muesli, porridge, eggs on ciabatta toast, roast tomato and Meredith Goats cheese on toast, home made baked beans, jaffles, pastries and croissants. And for lunch there are lots of things on display at the counter – quiches, pies, Croque Monseiur, sandwiches, rolls and wraps.
They offer special kid’s size milkshakes, hot chocolates and of course baby-cino’s. There are also jars of lollies and choccies, all your favourite treats and old-school lolly bags.
Don’t forget that Cowderoy’s is also a milk bar and general store, so you can kill two birds with one stone and after brekky or lunch you can grab the paper, milk or even toilet paper while you’re there! Very handy for a busy multitasking Mum on the run
