Dragonfly Café is located in beautiful Eden Gardens at North Ryde. The café has both indoor and outdoor dining seating and parents often prefer to sit outdoors near the gardens and the children’s playground. The food is gourmet Modern Australian and the setting a bit more formal than your average café.
Breakfast is offered between 8.30-11am. The lunch menu is available between 11.30am – 3.30pm with light options such as salads, baguettes and quiche on offer. You can also enjoy more substantial mains such as gnocchi, slow cooked pork belly, steak sandwich and lamb shank.
Kids meals are $9.50 and consists of the typical nuggets, chicken strips and battered fish all served with chips, a juice and gelato. The outside gelato bar is a huge attraction for the little ones.
Dragonfly is a regular for mothers groups given its easy access with underground parking and ramps along with change facilities and play areas. The Espresso di Manfredi coffee is strong and reliable with T2 teas delicious. Our favourite was the Gorgeous Geisha tea – a blend of green tea with subtle hints of strawberries.
Dragonfly is a place to enjoy with your children but you can also come for a Winter Vintage High Tea or formal lunch with the girls. Explore the nursery and the playground or take part in the kids gardening educational programs to share the gardening world with them.
