Fress Cafe can get chockas and it was this day too. We waited for no more than five minutes for a table, the staff cleaned the table like a whirlwind and had us seated with menus before we knew it. The kids knew immediately to go grab the colouring pencils and cute picnic tea sets and set themselves up for a play.
The staff are amazing and accommodated our every need and had our orders taken and delivered to our table in no time – huge tick! There are plenty of yummy fresh things to choose from on their menu. Most options have Israeli influences. I hear amazing things about the shakshuka. The coffee was yum but stronger than I remember.
While this cafe is not huge, with a courtyard out the back, a row of tables on the footpath and one large table at the front it can accommodate a bigger party.
The kids menu is oh so cute and stuck to the inside cover of a Mister Men book. My eldest proceeded to read the story to my 2 little ones keeping them entertained while dad read the newspaper and I drank my coffee in peace (if you call the hum of a busy cafe full of families, oldies, youngies and middle agies, peace). Ahhhh heaven…..
