A North Shore institution for over 20 years offering gourmet pizza, pasta and salads in a relaxed and family friendly environment. Little ones will love playing with their own pizza dough.
Gourmet Pizza Kitchen (GPK) has been a north shore institution for over 20 years. Their customers tend to primarily be groups of teenagers and families. They section the restaurant in half so families have their own area and there is usually plenty of noise to drown out noisy toddlers.
Children love coming here for the colouring and especially the ‘play’ dough balls. They are not for eating (not that this stopped my children!) however they are fun to mould and colour in. The kids menu offers 18cm kids pizzas ($9.50-$11.50) and pastas ($8.90 & $9.90). If your little ones enjoy a drink and dessert, the $14.90 kids set meal includes these and is good value.
GBK specialise in Gourmet Pizzas and they have plenty of choice. Be ready for lots of sauce! Pizza range from $14.90 for a plain Noosa to $24.90 for seafood pizzas such as Cuba and Nova Scotia. If you are after something lighter, the Mediterranean Salad ($12.90) is delicious. Whilst we didn’t make it to dessert, the looked delicious and range from $7.50 to $12.90.
I would recommend GPK Chatswood as a quick and easy place to bring children for an early dinner. The service is relaxed and the atmosphere welcoming.
