The former Pennant Hills Inn has been transformed during 2012 into Hotel Pennant Hills to meet the needs of locals seeking high quality food in a family friendly environment. The bistro is set up for families with indoor and outdoor seating; soft play for 2-4 year olds and older children; a jumping castle on Sundays; plenty of room for prams and family change facilities.
The kids menu ranges from $9 to $12 and come with a free ‘Busy Nippers’ activity pack. They offer your ‘typical’ kids bistro meals of spaghetti, cheeseburger, sausage, steak, chicken nuggets and fish – all served with chips. For a healthier option go for the grilled chicken with salad.
The bistro menu ranges from gourmet salads; pub favourites such as battered fish and chicken schnitzel; burgers; seafood; grilled meats; pizza; pasta and stir fries ($14-$30). Our favourite was the rustic lamb salad was presented beautifully and a delicious blend of lamb, feta, apricots and olives.
The cafe is open from 9.30am-12pm if you are after a quick bite in the morning. Every Sunday they have entertainment for children between 1-3pm from Jesse the Cowgirl, Roxy Montana, Stephanie from Lazy Town and more.
