Hunters Hill Hotel
The playroom is great for little ones and parents will love the outdoor seating, 160″ big screen and delicious menuThe ‘new’ Hunters Hill Hotel was opened in late 2014 after a three year renovation. The heritage facade remains however the dingy pub interiors are no more. The newly chic interiors welcome all walks of life including families, young trendies and sports lovers. Cosmopolitans and espresso martinis even make an appearance on their extensive cocktail list. Exciting new facilities include an outdoor beer garden with an impressive 160 inch screen for sports lovers, upstairs function rooms and a play room for little ones. So, whilst mum sips on her wine or cocktail and dad watches the big screen with beer in hand, little ones can play to their hearts desire in the play room. Pretty great heh?
Kids meals are all $10 and portion sizes are large. You will also find your typical kids pub favourites – fish and chips; penne napolitana; chicken strips; beef burger; and risotto. The exotic sounding salted caramel, bubblegum or smarties ice-cream tubs are $4.50.
The bistro menu has also undergone a complete revamp. Their HHH Wagyu Burger ($20) recently won ‘Best Burger’ at the 2014 AHA Awards for Excellence. Piled high with ingredients and a pickle on top, this will satisfy any hunger or burger enthusiast. Also on the menu are meats, seafood, salad, pizza and pasta ($7 – $40).
Hunters Hill Hotel really does cater to all walks and is big enough to allow families with young children to enjoy a relatively rowdy meal near the play room and still not disturb others. The fun and vibrant atmosphere makes for the perfect family dining venue.
