Prepared to be surprised with this casual dining experience serving the most affordable kids meals in Brisbane. This amazing space is made for family friendly dining offering everything you need including multiple kids play areas.
From the minute you arrive at the IKEA Logan store you know you’re in for a stress free adventure with the abundance of easy parking and the kids (over 3 year old) dedicated check-in play area.
The cafe has followed suit and nailed the family dining experience by removing any of the concerns you may have at other cafes like “please don’t spill the babycino today”. The cafe is strategically placed right in the middle of the store just when you and the kids need a rest break from shopping. The cafe offers amazingly affordable meals, sandwiches, deserts, drinks and some pretty decent coffee.
The Children’s breakfast consists of: free range scrambled eggs, bacon (or sausage) and a hash brown for $1.99 which has to be up there as one of the cheapest kids breakfast’s I have encountered. For lunch and dinner the kid’s meals are a choice of: chicken nuggets or meatballs with chips or mash potato’s. The meatballs are always a hit with my kids. Most meals come with either hot chips or mash potato however you can add veggie’s or salad for an additional $1.50.
The best part about dinning here is that you don’t need to bring anything. They have you covered supplying all the kids plates, cutlery, cups, bibs & highchairs. There is also an amazing kid’s play area on the left of the restaurant that is great if you can find a table near as when the kids have eaten can jump down and play leaving you to enjoy the rest of you meal. The IKEA Logan Cafe should definitely be on the must experience list for your next home wares shopping adventure.
