When you are weary from your outlet shopping spree or just after visiting Coles, Jean Louis Joseph is the perfect pit stop to recharge yourself and the little ones. We love the location next to the pirate soft play, rides and change facilities. There is plenty of room for prams and seating at the large communal table inside the shop or tables in the courtyard.
As you would expect, the menu has an Italian focus and they make use of their gourmet deli items which are local and flown in from all over the world. Olives are from Borough Market in London, Olive Oil from the Hunter Valley, French cheeses and Italian meats. Breakfast is a choice of museli, pancakes and eggs. The coffee is All Press and is strong and robust. For lunch, the menu is extensive and gourmet with sandwiches, pasta, salads and specials. If you loved your cured meat and cheeses, the Jean Louis Joseph grazing plate (for 2 people) will give you a taste of the best deli items they have to offer.
They do not have a children’s menu however little ones will love the freshly baked muffins and sharing your pasta, soup or sandwich. My little one loved the hearty vegetable soup with sourdough toast.
The deli items are fabulous to take home, especially the pasta and sauces. You can even take home the ingredients of your favourite menu item. If they havn’t sold out, take home their freshly baked ricotta, strawberry or lemon tarts for a decadent treat.
