Jimmi Jamz is slick, stylish and spacious. The on-trend fit-out of polished concrete floors, exposed brick walls, rustic wooden tables and chairs is stylish and cool but still creates a warm and inviting space for relaxed family meals, and group catch-ups with friends.
With such a spacious interior, there is more than enough room to wheel prams around and park them right at the tables, and plenty of space for the large number of highchairs they provide too. There is also a big back courtyard with a heated undercover area. And right out the back, is the famous fenced in play area complete with cubby house and slide. Ensuring you can sit in the sheltered courtyard, morning sunshine streaming down, sipping on a hot coffee, catching up on the weekend news, whilst the little tackers can play right before your eyes in a safe space that they cannot escape from. Perfect!
Jimmi Jamz offers an affordable, simple, tasty menu with broad appeal and something that is sure to please all the members of the family. There is no specific kids menu but so many options, with many that would no doubt get the tick of approval from the little ones including pancakes, fruit toast, avocado on toast, omelettes and French toast for brekky or brunch.
And with all the pizza’s priced at under $10, it makes for a cheap and cheerful choice for lunch or din-din’s too. The shaved ham and grated pineapple pizza, and the napoli sauce, bocconcini and basil pizza, are apparently the most popular choices here for the kidlets, however our little one added olives and mushrooms to hers and loved it. There are also foccacias, salads and paper pasta (pasta baked in baking paper in the oven).
This cafe come restaurant is a very nice choice for anything from a quick babycino (just $1) and coffee after kinder, through to a big family get-together lunch and a couple of vino’s, weekend brunch with friends in the courtyard, or an early, easy and cheap family dinner.
There is also a great little Kids shop just a couple of doors up called The Truffle Tree, definitely worth a little look too so you can eat, play AND then shop.
