Kellermans Cafe is part of the Annette Kellerman pool complex (or Enmore Pool) and is a firm family-friendly favourite for locals. The drawcard is the beautiful Enmore Park with its grass and playground. Dining here is casual and ‘kiosk-style’ however it is well priced and they cater well for children.
The cafe over looks the awesome playground complete with a huge rocket ship! The playground is fantastic for all ages with so many options from toddler swings to huge climbing frames. It is also across the road from the fantastic Petty Cash Cafe.
In ‘Kid’s Corner’, Kellermans offers little ones toasties (ham & cheese or cheese & tomato); bacon and egg muffin; or chicken nuggets and chips. We ordered the ham and cheese toastie and bacon and egg muffin. Both were delicious and large portion sizes so could have easily been shared. Check out the carton of books near the drinks fridge to keep little ones happy and entertained.
The Kellermans ‘All Day Menu’ ranges in price form only $4.50 to $16.50. I ordered the chicken wrap ($5.90) however I was also tempted by some tasty looking mains such as the steak sandwich ($9); chicken Caesar salad ($13.50); and homemade Gnocci with Napoli sauce ($10.50). All your breakfast and lunch favourites are covered, at reasonable prices. Kellermans is a great place to feed the family for less.
