Lees Fortuna Court was opened by brothers Stanley and William in 1978. Even today you receive the same old fashioned, genuine and relaxed service that they have always offered. Visit for an early dinner and you will be hard pressed to find a table without children. They genuinely welcome children with open arms and unlike other restaurants, they will probably have just as good a time as the adults (if not better!).
The round tables are ideal for big family gatherings with the food in the middle to share. Choose from a la carte or the banquet menu. Sharing is obviously the way to go and this is perfect for family meals. Let the experienced wait staff help you order, we found their advice invaluable and everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and well presented.
You can’t visit without ordering the Peking Duck, which is an experience in itself. The pancakes were rich with succulent duck and this was finished off by refreshing sang choy bow. The sizzling beef was a spectacle that had the little ones in awe and the scallops with ginger and shallots were a great way to end the main meal. Whilst the little ones nibbled on each of the mains, the highlight for them was the special fried rice with prawns, vegetables and meat. Perfect for little mouths. With so much food in our bellies, its a wonder any of us could manage what was to come next!
Celebrations is what Lees Fortuna Court are known for and boy do they perform. Ice cream cakes come complete with a Samurai sword for cutting.
Lees Fortuna Court is our pick of the best Chinese restaurant to take little ones on the North Shore. Its relaxed vibe and authentic Chinese cuisine will have you coming back for more. Just make sure you book in advance for a great evening.
