Hmmm…No highchairs, no change table, no kids menu, toilets that are very hard to get to… doesn’t sound that kid friendly does it? Yet at breakfast or lunch time on a weekend, there are many families with prams and little ones in sight.
I think Liar Liar is more well suited to smaller bubs who can happily snore away in the pram, a sling or their parents arms. There are no highchairs for older babies, there is not a lot of space for toddlers and there is no kid’s menu.
Liar Liar is on the ground floor of an apartment complex with shops down the bottom, so it is a bit dark and gloomy inside. The interiors are dark, sleek and sexy and do look good, however it does lack a light and airy, happy kid-friendly vibe.
The toilets (should be singular – as there is one toilet) are hard to get to – they are situated out the front door then left, then left down the lane, then left again into the garage, through a door that opens with a key and then up a few stairs. Not too good if you need to quickly change a dirty nappy or have a little one who is busting – as you just wouldn’t make it in time.
The food here is good though and they use good quality ingredients including Dench bread and free-range eggs. There is also a nice selection of fresh juices with cute names, like the Hippy Juice which I had, which was a healthy combo of Carrot, Orange, Celery and ginger.
Liar Liar is brought to you from the same people that started the very popular APTE (A place to eat) in Fairfield.
