Situated in the middle of the gorgeous Eden Garden's nursery. The kid-welcoming staff, child's menu and cute kid's play area in the gardens combine to make it an absolute pleasure to eat out with a kid or two in tow.
Linton’s Cafe is in an old cottage out the back of the gift shop, through a gorgeous nursery of plants. It is surprisingly kid friendly with highchairs, a kids menu and a play area in the gardens.
The menu, which can be found on their website, had a great selection for kids. Eggs for brekky, soup, sandwiches and spaghetti for lunch. For the big people there is a choice of yummy garden themed meals, some made with fresh veggies and herb from the garden itself.
The play area is not visible from the cafe however you could perhaps get a table close to the back windows to see older children playing. The cafe does have sign requesting no running through the cafe so probably best to eat first then play. The playground has a sandpit & cute little orange wheelbarrows, some blackboards to draw on and lovely little colourful stools set up around a raise garden bed for the kids to have a little garden in.
Eden gardens run kids gardening programs that you can find out more about on their website.
