Me Too Please is partly gift shop and partly espresso bar, serving some of Annandale’s best coffee and tasty food. The coffee is by world barista champion, Paul Bassett, who describes it as sweet dessert style espresso. The tables and chairs are all covered in the delightful designs of their Mexican oilcloth, which you can also purchase in the shop. Little ones have their own table with chalk and a chalkboard placemat.
The menu is simple, yet everything is done well and at reasonable prices. For breakfast, choose from toast or bacon & egg roll. Lunch consists of open sourdough toasts, salads, baguettes and toasties. They don’t offer a separate kids menu however there are several smaller options including toast, baked goods and milkshakes to keep little ones happy.
The giftshop is a delight and their products are all unique and ethically sourced. I especially loved their signature Mexican oilcloth products. My favourite items were the lunch bags and chalk cloth. You can also purchase the oilcloth by the metre in your favourite design. Me Too Please is cute, quirky and fun. It may not be huge, however the food and coffee is produced to a very high standard and little ones will enjoy the vibe and activities.
