Pablo and Rusty’s are speciality coffee roasters and their cafes seem to be popping up all over Sydney. The Lane Cove plaza location is always busy and because of its close proximity to the kid-friendly lawn, it is really popular with families. If you choose to dine in, the outside seating is the best with little ones.
These guys know their coffee. It is sourced directly from farmers that they know and trust, then they roast it themselves twice a week to ensure it is as fresh as possible. Finally, their baristas are amazing and extensively trained so you always know you can rely on them for a fantastic brew.
When you visit with little ones the best option is to order from their takeaway menu and sit on the covered lawn just metres away. Little ones have a fantastic time playing and running and hopefully you can grab just a few minutes rest. The ham and cheese toastie ($8.50) is bursting with fresh leg ham and is a great option to share between 2 little ones.
A popular option from the breakfast menu is the bacon and egg breakfast panini ($10 TA/$11) which comes with their homemade tomato relish. For something healthy the coconut yoghurt with seasonal fruit, quinoa and caramelised buckwheat looks delicious ($8.50 TA/$13). If you are eating in, the popular ‘brekkie boards’ are fantastic for sharing with little ones ($9-$19).
Get your coffee fix at Pablo and Rusty’s Lane Cove and enjoy all the kid-friendly features the Plaza has to offer.
