Parramatta Park Cafe

The park is great for exploring with little ones with birds, bats, plenty of grass and scooter paths.

Parramatta Park Cafe is located in a part of Parramatta known as “Little Coogee” which was a very popular swimming and picnic area as far back as the 1880′s. Whilst the river no longer looks appealing for swimming, it does provide a beautiful backdrop for the café. Grab a table on the deck outside and listen to the birdlife and relax under the trees.

Parramatta Park Café is very child friendly with easy pram access, especially for their outdoor seating. They have toilets and change facilities on site and activities to keep little hands busy. They only have two highchairs so be prepared you may need to wait. The kid’s menu is a bit disappointing with no healthy options. Choose from nuggets, cheeseburger, sausage or fish all served with chips. For breakfast, little ones may choose toast or banana bread.

Parramatta Park is great for exploring with little ones with birds, bats, plenty of grass and scooter paths. The closest playground to the café is Domain Creek which is near the Park Avenue Gate. You can also book an area of the park for children’s birthday parties or the event centre adjacent to the café also hosts parties.
