Plonk Beach Cafe is a fantastic dining option for families. Parents can enjoy their delicious food and great coffee whilst little ones play on the beach in front of the restaurant. The cafe is a bit off the beaten track and it can be difficult to park depending on whether you are coming from the Manly or Mosman side. If you are coming from Manly, metred parking is available on your left just after the Spit Bridge. If you are coming from the Mosman side, you can either try parking on the D’Albora Marina on your left and walking to the cafe via the path under the bridge or turn right just before Orso restaurant and park in the carpark there. This can be a bit tricky the first time you visit, but its worth the trouble to experience this great cafe!
Plonk is open for breakfast and lunch everyday and Friday and Saturday night dinners (except in Winter – check their website for dates). They offer a kid’s menu for lunch and dinner which includes chicken winglets or fish with chips, melted cheese, ham, tomato and salad sandwich and bacon and cheese penne.
