The little piazza on the quiet side of Artarmon station is the home to a variety of Japanese restaurants and grocers. There is plenty of 2 hour street parking and the outdoor seating is idilic for families who can enjoy the sunshine and watch little ones play. You will find Salvage packed in the morning with mums and bubs, especially after the school run.
The menu is displayed on the blackboard, it may be small however the food here is done to perfection. Little ones can choose from sourdough toast or Blackforest Gypsy ham and Warrnambool Cheddar toastie. They will also love the variety of baked goods on display inside (all around $5). Get here early on the weekends to try their specials such as pork terrine with pickled veg and soft fee range egg.
The owners are usually onsite and encourage a fun and vibrant atmosphere! All food and water is served on unbreakable enamel cookware which is great for little ones.
