Look no further mums and dads, grandparents and carers alike… Little Eats has found Sydney’s best babycino right on The Grand Parade in Brighton-Le-Sands! Sorelle’s “Baby Cino Grande” ($4.50) is quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen! It truly is a work of art! The Baby Cino Grande comes in a sweet little coffee cup, full of froth, sprinkled with chocolate and two colourful marshmallows. But more impressively, perched gracefully above the cup is a freshly made (on site) baby ice cream cone which is sure to be a hit with your little ones.
Sorelle on Grand is run by the cutest pair of sisters (Carla and Claudia). These two bubbly girls, who are backed by Chef James (Carla’s partner) in the kitchen, sure take friendly service to a whole new level! Upon arriving at the café we were greeted warmly by Claudia and shown to a larger, more comfortable table at the back of the café. A high chair was quickly provided, we grabbed some activities from the ‘kids shelf’ and listened to Claudia as she ran through the extensive list of cakes on offer all of which are made on site.
Their amazing kids menu, complete with homemade nuggets, kids burgers and a variety of pastas – all sans preservatives and made on site are a bargain at $8. Whilst the café is fairly small, it has enough room to accommodate a high chair around the table indoors and there are also tables and chairs on the pavement, which would be perfect for pram parking. But be aware, these tables could be dangerous for those with wandering toddlers as The Grand Parade is a very busy road!
Sorelle on Grand is a real treat to visit before or after a trip to Brighton-Le-Sands beach, whether you want an early breakfast, a light affordable lunch, or to grab a cake, ice cream or coffee. But whatever you’re in the mood for, make sure you indulge your little one in a Baby Cino Grande – you and they won’t regret it!
