Described as ‘a mum’s group nirvana’ and I would have to agree. Sydney Park Kiosk has it all – great coffee, plenty of room for prams, lots of grass and a fantastic playground. Now all you need is good weather! Sydney Park itself is huge, 44 hectares in total and nestled under the industrial chimneys is the playground and kiosk.
For those with toddlers and young children, the playground is state of the art with a huge rope climbing frame, a wobbly bridge, lots of swings and colourful hills for running up and down. They also have 2 sandpits and plenty of seating for parents. There are also an abundance of paths for scooter and bike fun. Soon to open is a brand new scooter and bike park.
The kiosk has a small seating area but also plenty of grass to relax on (rugs provided). The food is excellent and the coffee strong and creamy by Schibello Caffé. Everything is served on takeaway plates and cups so its not a gourmet café experience but high quality kiosk fare with lower prices to match. Enjoy a gourmet burgers and sambos, toasties or salads. They also have a selection of delicious homemade muffins. For lunch, a kid’s sandwich is $5.50 and poppa is $2.20. They will also love the mini cupcakes with their favourite cartoon characters – we loved Elmo! Temple Juice Bar serves a variety of delicious juices, smoothies and frappes.
The Kiosk also caters for kid’s birthday parties from $12.50 pp. Make the most of the great toilet facilities and easy parking. Sydney Park Kiosk is a great day out for all the family, even the dog!
