The Sydney Tower buffet has amazing 360 views of the city, and a great buffet with many delectable options. They offer cold and hot food, with an impressive dessert selection also. The seafood was fresh and the meat dishes tender, and the service was impeccable. We only just finished our plates when the helpful waitresses where on hand to clean up our tables and top up our water!
As well as dining on buffet fare, my friend and I also enjoyed a Tower Splice cocktail each, which were beautifully presented and mixed just right.
Fortunately the buffet offers a number of options for those with intolerances and dietary requirements (eg, vegetarian, gluten free), with items marked as such at the buffet. However, I found there were some items that were gluten free that weren’t marked as such, so it can be worth asking the friendly chefs if something catches your eye and you have a dietary requirement.
My 1 year old boy enjoyed tidbits from my plate, especially the American glazed BBQ pork belly and garlic roasted potatoes (yum!). The waitresses also helpfully offered us wet wipes to keep bubba clean, and they kept utensils and glasses clear of wandering little hands.
In term of family-friendly facilities, this place hits many marks. Pram access and highchairs are all available here. There isn’t room for kids to run around however; something to note if your little one is full of beans. There is a change table available however which is super handy with kids in tow.
With the amazing views, food, and service, I would happily recommend this cafe. We had a great day out!
