The Boathouse Shelly Beach offers a trendy yet relaxed beachside locale for your next coffee date, relaxing brunch, long lunch or special dinner. Set on the shores of beautiful Shelly Beach there are ocean vistas from wherever you choose to sit either indoors or outdoors. The stylish interiors are complemented by a tropical, seaside garden and custom designed waterfall with plenty of space for littlies to explore.
The Boathouse Shelly Beach seems more spacious than its predecessors. There is a mixture of communal and traditional café style tables set amongst fresh flowers and decorative fruit bowls. As we begin to feel the brunt of winter there is a gas fireplace and heat lamps to keep you toasty warm.Parking is available at Shelly Beach ($8/hour); alternatively you may like to park in Manly and enjoy a stroll along Marine Parade on the foreshore all the while soaking up the sensational views of Cabbage Tree Bay and Fairy Bower Beach.
The menu, whilst expensive, includes many of the favourites from The Boathouse Palm Beach and Balmoral together with some new Shelly Beach specialties; Beer Battered Flathead, Cured Snapper with Mandarin and Octopus and Palm Beach Salad are just some of the tasty lunch options available. Unfortunately there isn’t a kids menu for breakfast or lunch however all menu items are available in half portions for children.
The Boathouse Kiosk offers signature dishes available to take away for breakfast, lunch and into the evening together with a unique range of fresh juices, smoothies and coconuts. The more relaxed option for busy little ones who love to explore on the beach.
