Camellia Gardens, famous for their beautiful landscapes, gardens and park grounds, are also home to The Teahouse. There are two carparks to choose from, one on the main road of President Avenue (better access for strollers) and the other at the rear, entry via Kareena Road. There is a side gate entrance on Kareena Rd close to the cafe.
Inside the cafe you can either sit in the casual cafe area or reserve a seat overlooking the gardens in the restaurant. If you are dining in, be prepared to pay higher prices for both beverages and meals owever, the takeaway menu is more reasonably priced and perfect for families as they can site on the picnic benches or near the enclosed playground.
After your meal, little ones will love the playground near the cafe which is designed more for older children (3+). There is also a great enclosed playground for toddlers up past the duck ponds at the rear of the grounds. Also wander down through the greenery, stopping along the way to admire waterfalls, a well, birds, flowers, bridges and finally going via the rear carpark we arrived at the duck feeding areas. Duck food available to purchase at the cafe for $1 per bag.
