Now that school holiday are over, I can concentrate on my not-so-little 2-year old, Ms I. We were on the hunt for a kid-friendly cafe in Sydney Inner West. We decided to visit this charming and cosy cafe in Petersham, The Tiny Giant.
A short walk from the train station and a public carpark in its doorstep, this cafe offers a variety of sumptuous brunch meals to suit your tastes! But for today, we tried their new, fancy, colourful and most popular Rainbow Bagel. This donut-shaped bread with a firm and crusty texture was pure awesomeness for my curious toddler! So she got stuck with fairy floss ( or pashmak) that topped this wonderful piece of rainbow-coloured bread roll to start with. But hey, inside it is filled with mascarpone cream, banana, pashmak and caramel sauce! The bagel itself is chewy, firm and their claim is right.. it looks like it has been pulled out of your (or your little ones) dream!
The have a friendly and accomodating staff, high-chairs and a kids menu. You have to bring-your-own colouring-in or books for your children though.
So don’t just take my word for it. Why not try them out? Their 20K plus Instragram followers can’t be wrong!
Oh and by the way, she got complementary marshmallows, too!
